Maybe it slows down the speed of the game but afterwards it really helps to analyze what happened.

Next idea for development: live movement on Youtube.AurelioZenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10754672136394568784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7659338702656708153.post-57897814086644501832010-09-28T13:29:52.739+02:002010-09-28T13:29:52.739+02:00As usually the story is correct. The gun-line of the french forces were to static and because of that all initiative came from the ottoman and the Black Welsh.
But what is the correct way to defeat a line of cannons? We haven't figured that one out yet. Maybe just charge them and accept the loss. But as a compasionate and modern general you just don't like to see your own soldiers dead on the battlefield. Maybe we should just become medieval generals and forget about it.AurelioZenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10754672136394568784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7659338702656708153.post-24359752603833253552010-09-27T09:38:22.165+02:002010-09-27T09:38:22.165+02:00Howdy - really glad you guys liked the report.
@S...Howdy - really glad you guys liked the report.
@Shaun: Yes, the Warmaster rules almost always leaves you thinking (while playing and after) this looks and feels authentic - the battle lines are a great thing to look at. Now if only the "black" Teutonians could manage to persuade their owner to paint them then it would look so much better :-).
@BishopLord: You will love Battle Chornicler - as for tips let me think it through and I'll write my thoughts on it - there are definately a few things that will make your life easier and some that are slow to do but must be done. Check back in a couple of days...Kasperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04073960841888193423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7659338702656708153.post-87415832980599292702010-09-24T10:47:24.369+02:002010-09-24T10:47:24.369+02:00Excellent write up, and having it in Battle Chroni...Excellent write up, and having it in Battle Chronicler is a bonus. While I've only played a couple of small games of Warmaster, I think it is one of the better rules that provide the vista of what a battle would look like. You prove this admirably though the battle report pictures.Shaun Travershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05691522858410783769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7659338702656708153.post-53765043908703654252010-09-24T09:46:53.058+02:002010-09-24T09:46:53.058+02:00As always a great AAR :-).Ive just down loaded Bat...As always a great AAR :-).Ive just down loaded Battle Chronicler for use in some future reports, any tips?

Jason.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
